Here are my top six wedding fair tips. These tips will help you get through any wedding fair with minimal headaches. Hope you enjoy.
Tip 1
Write your details or print (if you have the sheets of printer stickers) on sticker labels then you can just peel it off and give it to the vendors. This can also work to enter competitions offered at the show. It saves you writing over and over and over again the same details, believe me you will get tired of writing the same information repetitively!! I got this roll or stickers in dealz for €1.49 and fits perfectly in a handbag.
Tip 2
Create a specific wedding email. It will be so much easier to have all your wedding information in one location and not have to be searching like a maniac through your inbox to find an old quote you were looking for.
Tip 3
Bring a notebook and some glue dots. You can then dedicate a page in the notebook to a supplier and not all the important info down. I stick the business card in the book then note down prices/information underneath it. If I just took a flyer and then tried to think back who that was from/did I like them/did they have a good offer etc. I would be lost.
Tip 4
Bring a small folder or A4 pocket holder to keep any larger leaflets. If you keep the leaflets you are really interested in here they will be much easier to find instead of rooting around in a bag full of information later on.
Tip 5
Take a photo of a stand you are really interested in. By the time you get home and you might have talked to 10+ photography stands. It’s nice to have a picture to remember what your favourites were because you suddenly forget when you are just looking at a business card.
Tip 6
Wear comfy clothes and remember to drink plenty of water. It can be a long tiring day depending on what planning you have left to do. The water also works to wash down all the cake samples!!
