So today I had the pleasure of heading off to have a look around Martinstown House. It is fabulous. It is a stunning Victorian built home.
The details in decor around the grounds of Martinstown House was just fantastic beginning on the drive up to the house and continuing throughout. The gardens are amazing and they had outside in the walled gardens set up for a ceremony. It makes me wish I was having a spring/summer wedding (December in Ireland somehow doesn’t appeal to me as an ideal outdoor ceremony time of year)
The marquee was also set up in the walled gardens area. When you entered there was a gorgeous comfy seating area to your right and the cutest little bar on the left where I got a lovely glass of prosecco and some elder flower cordial. The tables were set up beautifully. Each one showing a different set up option decor wise. A sample of some appetisers and deserts were available. The chocolate brownie and cheesecake were to die for and my little girl couldn’t stop asking for more cupcakes!!
The gardens and grounds would be perfect for stunning wedding photos and then the house offers even more options from stunning fire lit dining rooms to the bridal suite with antique full length mirror. The bedrooms in the house are beautifully furnished and have some amazing private bathrooms. There was even a lovely tiny spiral staircase which was almost hidden that you could climb to access some more beautiful guest rooms. I loved the personal touch with the guests names on Kraft tags rather than room numbers on a door. The house sleeps 12 people. The house can be used to seat up to 40 people and for larger celebrations their marquee can seat up to 120 people.
There was also a display set up from Silk Road Tents showing some boutique camping options. Believe me if I had this sort of a tent and bed set up I would be camping a lot more often! It looked so comfy and romantic. The taller one set up with a few scattered cushions looked lovely for some guests to enjoy sitting around in relaxing.
E K Creations (Bespoke Styling) had set up the venue. Lovely set up and the chalkboard signs were just fantastic. Worth checking out for your venue if you need it styled.

Overall I had a lovely look around and found the owners and staff of Martinstown House very friendly and helpful.
