Dunnes have a a beautiful range of wedding items that are very simple and elegantly designed. They have a soft feel to the covers and they all come packaged in a clear plastic covered box to protect them. The wedding range consists of a wedding planner, wedding guestbook, wedding album and wedding keepsake box. They basically have you covered from start to finish.
1. The Wedding Planner (Was €15 now €7)
The wedding planner is a Filofax style planner. It is ring bound and has tabbed pages seperating the sections. The main sections are a checklist of what stage you should be at with your planning e.g initial planning you should set your budget and look at venues etc. (Now some of the things it suggest initially I still have t finalised and I have 4 months to go so I am not sure I agree with all the list but it is a start towards helping you out). The pages in between the main sections are just lines pages where you can write down anything you have achieved, still need to organise or just to write your thoughts down. It is a very simple yet helpful planner.
2. The Wedding Guestbook (Was €15 now €7)
This is again a simple style and layout. The cover is just titled “Wedding Guests” with a small silver heart and bow. The pages inside are all lined pages with the heading “Family and Friends” at the top. I love how the inside has family and fiends rather than guests on the inside. It shows the people invited that you view them as either family or friends and they were invited to your wedding as just that and not simply a guest.
3. The Wedding Album (Was €25 now €12)
The album has a plain front without wording just the lovely heart and bow design. Inside are as you would expect plenty of blank pages with a lovely top transparent page to go over the photos. I know you can get the fancy photobooks with a photography page and don’t get me wrong I love that style and will probably be getting them myself but there was something about this old style of album that our parents would have had that made me buy it. I don’t print enough photos anymore with all the technology we have and sometimes it is nice to just print out your own and stick them in an album.
4. The Wedding Keepsake Box (Was €20 now €10)
Finally then to keep all your little bits and bobs we have a wedding keepsake box. The cover of this has an inbuilt little picture frame where you can put a fab photo from your wedding day. The box is a decent enough size. I plan on keeping the wedding cards in this box (I am a bit or a card hoarded)
Overall for the price it is a lovely little collection to have. It is a simple but elegant design and would match most colour schemes.
