I went along to Castleknock Hotel Wedding Evening. All I can say is stunning set up. They had the Sierra Room showcasing their three packages – Classic, Summer and Winter, each one is as beautiful as the next. They can accommodate between 60 and 300 guests and have a mood lighting system that can be altered to various colours to match the theme of your wedding. The flexible partitioning allows the room to be optimised to the size of your wedding. The hotel is located just 5 minutes drive from some stunning locations such as the Strawberry Beds, the Sandpits, Farmleigh and the Phoenix Park that could be used for some stunning wedding photographs.
The center pieces are fantastic and each of the different options for the chairs are lovely. The whole room was draped and it gave the feeling of a comfortable, warm and welcoming room. I love how they have set up the room in the different sections so that you can get a feel of how different you can make the room feel and look depending on your preference. I love the wintery blue up lighting, candelabras, sprayed twigs and silver chair sashes but then again I am equally a fan of the pink up lighting with cherry blossom table decoration and gold chair sashes.
They know how to treat potential bride and grooms very well. They had a stunning goody bag which contained their brochure (which is the prettiest one I have seen), an amazing smelling candle and a lovely small box of butlers chocolates. What a fantastic surprise and it is the 1st and only venue so far that I have been to where a goody bag was provided. What a lovely touch.
You can contact the wedding team here for more information about the packages and arranging to view the venue. You can also get them by emailing weddings@chcc.ie or calling (01) 640 6300. I was greeted by Lorraine on the day and she was fantastic to talk to.
The photos below will show you what I mean. They speak for themselves.
